Position Summary:
The Translator will provide high-quality translation and interpretation services in English, Russian, Arabic, and Kyrgyz to support diplomatic and administrative activities. The role involves facilitating effective communication between embassy staff, local authorities, and external stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
Key Responsibilities:

Translation Services:
- Translate official documents, correspondence, and reports between Russian, Arabic, and Kyrgyz.
- Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and adhere to professional standards.

Interpretation Services:
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, and events.
- Assist in diplomatic engagements by bridging language barriers.

Administrative Support:
- Assist with drafting and reviewing bilingual or multilingual correspondence.
- Support embassy staff in handling local inquiries and communications.

Cultural Mediation:
- Offer insights into cultural nuances to facilitate smooth communication.
- Guide embassy staff in understanding local customs and practices.

Record Keeping:
- Maintain a database of translated materials and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage schedules for interpretation requests and assignments.

Other Duties:
- Provide language assistance in emergencies.
- Perform additional tasks as required by embassy leadership.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, or a related field.

Experience:
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in diplomatic or government settings.
- Familiarity with technical and legal terminology in all four languages is a plus.

- Proficiency in Russian, Arabic, and Kyrgyz (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural contexts for each language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
